This folder fills automatically when the National Weather Service issues a watch or warning for Randolph County or the surrounding counties. An empty folder means there are no active alerts, which is the way it should read. Storm sirens cover Moberly, Huntsville, Renick, Higbee, Clark, Clifton Hill and Cairo, and sound one continuous tone for a tornado warning. There is no all-clear signal — the siren stopping means the warning expired, not that the danger passed. Sign up for county alerts, or text your ZIP code to 38276.
