Category: Randolph County Health Department
The health department does far more than most people realise and most of it is cheap. A clinic visit is $50 with sliding-fee discounts, a chlamydia and gonorrhoea test is $5, and you need no doctor’s order for the standing labs — a blood draw with a full metabolic panel runs $29. This is also where birth and death certificates come from, not the courthouse. It runs WIC, free home visiting for new parents, septic and food permits, CPR classes and the farmers market. 1319 E. Highway 24, 660-263-6643. Every service and every fee.
