Checking a licence
Missouri licenses tattoo, body piercing and branding establishments and the individual artists working in them, through the Office of Tattooing, Body Piercing and Branding under the Division of Professional Registration. Licence status is public and searchable at pr.mo.gov/tattooing.asp.
Worth two minutes before an appointment. The state also handles complaints about an establishment.
