Category: Moberly Depot District
Downtown Moberly is a Community Improvement District, established under Missouri law on February 21, 2017 on a petition from downtown property owners, and governed by a five-member board appointed by the City Council. It is funded by a 1 percent sales tax inside its boundary — 9.475 percent there against 8.475 elsewhere in Moberly. It runs a facade grant paying up to 70 percent of an exterior project, capped at $7,000, from a $70,000 annual pool — but you must apply before you start work. See the CID, its money and the grant.
