What’s in the district
The 4th Street Theatre · the Randolph County Railroad Museum · the Randolph County Historical Society · the Fennel Event Center · the Moberly Municipal Auditorium · Depot Park · and the retail and dining along the downtown blocks. Most of the buildings are more than a century old, and part of the area is the Moberly Commercial Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places.
For property owners
The CID runs a Private Property Improvement grant program for building improvements downtown, publishes historic design guidelines, and lists downtown properties for sale and for rent. Downtown Moberly also sits in a federal Opportunity Zone, which carries tax advantages for certain investments.
Details on all of it run through the EDC at the number above.
