Category: Moberly Tourism
Three separate bodies handle tourism here and they are not the same organisation. The Tourism Advisory Council is an arm of the City, funded by a 4 percent hotel tax and awarding grants from it. The Convention & Visitors Bureau does the marketing and sits inside the Chamber at 211 W. Reed Street, 660-263-6070. Moberly has two hotels, so big weekends book out early. The biggest draw is Junk Junktion in September — over 100 vendors and around 15,000 people. See every attraction, hotel and restaurant and every annual event month by month.
