There is no VA clinic in Moberly, and none anywhere in Randolph County. The nearest VA facilities are both about 35 miles away, in Mexico and Columbia. Here is what serves veterans here.

Getting there is the usual obstacle. The Columbia VA coordinates Disabled American Veterans vans and the Veterans Transportation Service — ask about rides when you schedule, not after.
Filing a claim
Missouri’s Veterans Service Officers are state employees of the Missouri Veterans Commission, and they help file VA claims at no charge. Randolph County government does not run its own veterans office, so the VSO covering this area works out of the state system.
Missouri Veterans Commission · 573-751-3779 · movets@mvc.dps.mo.gov
Call and ask which service officer covers Randolph County and where they hold office hours.
A caution worth printing: several business directories list a “Randolph County Veterans Service Office” in Moberly with a contact name and a 573 phone number. That listing dates to 2012, the county publishes no such office, and the number is a Columbia exchange. Use the state commission number above instead.

General Omar Bradley, the last five-star general in American history, grew up in Randolph County. The War Memorial in Rothwell Park carries a statue of him.
Compiled September 2026 from va.gov, the Missouri Veterans Commission and the Missouri VFW post roster. If you can correct or add to this, we want to hear it: news@moberlymainline.com.
