Christos Center — Moberly Food Bank
A real, United Way-funded food bank in Moberly. We could not verify its address, phone or hours from any source — it has no website. If you need it, call United Way and ask: paula@unitedwayrandolphcounty.org. If you run it, send us your details and we will publish them.
A warning about food pantry websites. The main national pantry locator lists 16 "locations" for Randolph County and every one of them is a supermarket that accepts SNAP — Walmart, Aldi, Dollar General, Walgreens. Not one is a food pantry. Ignore it.
Rent, utilities, prescriptions and gas
Randolph County Ministerial Alliance — PO Box 852, Moberly · 660-998-2807 · rcmamo.org
A partnership of local churches and pastors. In their own words: "We help in Randolph County with rent, utilities, prescriptions, food and gas; paid directly to City of Moberly, Ameren UE, pharmacy or landlord."
Payment goes to the vendor, never to you. That is how it works and it is not a judgement about you — it is how the programme is funded.
Apply through the form on their site. They also run an air conditioner distribution programme with its own application. Funded by community donations and United Way.

PO Box 576, Moberly · paula@unitedwayrandolphcounty.org · unitedwayrandolphcounty.org. Executive Director Paula Heath. 2026 campaign goal $145,000, and they say more than 95 percent of a donation goes to local organisations.
The twelve agencies it funds are, in effect, the county’s safety net: Christos Center Moberly Food Bank · Community Childcare Learning Center · Coyote Hill · Faith Bridge Foster Kids Carry-ON · Safe Passage · Randolph County Sheltered Industries and MPPS · Randolph County Ministerial Alliance · Senior Americans Multipurpose Center · Randolph County 4-H · Higbee Senior & Community Center · United Way Coats for Kids · United Way 2-1-1.
Coats for Kids provides winter outerwear to students in Randolph County, Middle Grove, Madison and Salisbury schools. Requests go through the child’s school — United Way states plainly that they do not hand out coats directly. Tell the school.
United Way also runs the county’s Emergency Food and Shelter Program board, distributing federal money for rent, mortgage, utilities, meals, shelter, food and emergency repairs. Non-profit and government agencies can apply through director@unitedwayrandolphcounty.org.
