Every Moberly city board files its agendas, packets and minutes in one place: the city’s Agenda Center. Thirteen bodies post there.
City Council — regular meetings, special meetings and council retreats.
Also filing: Planning and Zoning Commission · Board of Adjustment · Park Board · Friends of the Park · Historic Preservation Commission · Tourism Advisory Commission · Airport Advisory Board · Downtown CID Board · Moberly Special Road District · Electrical Board of Examiners · Plumbing Board · Omar Bradley Museum.
Reading an agenda before the meeting
The agenda is where a decision first appears in public, usually days before it is made. If you care about a rezoning, a bid award, a rate change or an ordinance, the agenda packet is the document that tells you it is coming. The minutes tell you what happened afterwards, which is too late to say anything about it.
To get on an agenda, contact the City Clerk — 660-269-8705 ext. 2052, or 660-269-7652.
Elsewhere
The Randolph County Commission is a separate body and files its own agendas and minutes at randolphcounty-mo.com. It meets Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9 a.m. at the courthouse in Huntsville — twice a week, more often than most county commissions in the region.
Video of council meetings is in Council Meetings. City government contacts are in the City Hall directory.
